In all honesty, I can't say I was overly impressed with this
book. Most of it, for people in technology, appears to be stating the obvious.
However, if you are a corporate executive or information manager struggling with
information capture, propagation, and use, you may walk away with a few helpful
ideas from reading this book. Perhaps I was expecting too much from a captain
of the high-tech industry; I had hoped for more insight into Mr. Gates
view of future trends, but was sadly disappointed. Don't get me wrong, the
book is an interesting read, but I'd check it out of the library and forget
plunking down your hard-earned cash for a private copy.
