Review: Love It, Don't Leave It: 26 Ways to Get What You Want at Work (Book)

I found this humorous and charming book to be complementary to the authors' other prominent seller, Love 'Em Or Lose 'Em: Getting Good People to Stay. Even though it doesn't answer some important and problematical employee questions (e.g., "What if your boss declines your request?" OR "How do you make a lateral move?"), the content provides immediately useful, practical, and results-oriented tools that help individuals assume more ownership for fixing what isn't working for them in their workplace. In addition to empowering the individual, this approach allows managers and HR professionals to more consistently assume the role of sounding board, coach, and collaborative strategist.

I recommend this book to those who are seeking to proactively make a positive attitude adjustment toward their job, by working to transform the negativity surrounding them into positive innovation and synchronizing their personal mission with that of their organization.
