This visually appealing, research-based book outlines 26 steps
for improving employee retention, with specific actions cleverly organized in
an A-Z fashion. It is neatly organized, clearly written, and focuses on the
many highly important non-cash elements of retaining people. The many
opportunities provided for manager self-assessment are also extremely
helpful. Explanations of what motivates people to stay in a job and what
managers can do to influence this outcome are provided. I've met and talked
with Beverly Kaye, and believe me, this lady knows her stuff. In short, this
how-to book should be read by anyone who
leads/manages people. One final note
be sure to check out the
"Quick Start Guide" at the end of the book.
