Review: Credibility: How Leaders Gain and Lose It, Why People Demand It,
Revised Edition
(Book)

I am a real fan of these two authors because they back up what they say with research and I support their view of what makes good leadership overall. The topic under discussion in this book — building and maintaining credibility and trust — is essential for anyone who wants to be successful as a leader, it's true. However, much of this book seems to be a rehash of the concepts laid out in their prior offering, The Leadership Challenge, with different examples. The book is well written, and I'm not sorry I added it to my leadership library, but I can't say I would buy multiple copies to pass out to all of my friends and associates either.
